It is not a big issue if you loose a deal, as long as you have done everything you could to win.
One more time, the sooner you identify a concern or problem, the quicker you can address it and chances are that yo uwill be successful.
If you lose a deal, I would ask you the reasons why, and who won the deal, what made the difference, what we can close shortyl, when we could get back to them to win back the contract...
